Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Building Ledger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
Service Description
Building Ledger is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for building financial management, including expense allocation, billing, payments, arrears tracking, and asset management for shared buildings.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, providing accurate financial data, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.
Data Accuracy
Users acknowledge that the accuracy of financial reports, allocation calculations, and billing depends on the quality and completeness of data entered into the system. The platform provides tools to assist with data quality but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered data.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the platform, including software, design, and documentation, remain the property of Building Ledger. Users retain ownership of their data entered into the platform.
Limitation of Liability
Building Ledger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service with thirty days written notice. Upon termination, users will have thirty days to export their data before it is permanently deleted.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the building is located.
